SHREDDED SCALLOPED POTATOES
SCALLOP POTATO RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 6 med. potatoes, or 1/2 pkg. frozen hash browns
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8 oz.) drained mushroom pieces, opt.
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
Boil potatoes and cool. This can be done as far ahead as 24 hours. When ready to make scalloped potatoes grated potatoes. Layer bottom of pam scraped casserole dish with potatoes. Mix other ingredients together and pour part of mixture over grated potatoes. Put more potatoes over top of this and layer with more. Liquid mixture until all is used. Top with cheese. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees....enjoy the scalloped potato !
